hey ppl!(sorry a bit random i know)haha today's the final official sch day before prelim!! hmmm and fr our class, mich, quek, emily and lijun (+ 2 guys fr other class) took part in the AYE captain haha.btw, their team is known as "RTR" (i really have no idea how do you pronounce it) and they are also the champion haha!!

below are some photos that i took when i was watching the games..

the supporters!! haha jz and xh were also there before i started to wander around with my handphone ('s cam)

lijun was jumping in <---- photo. but HAHA. cos my cam is a SLIGHTLY lag so could only take a shot when he was landing.

they were doing some cheer la. but i rmb it ended in a funny way.. this one should be before the semi final/final.
btw, the semi final game was tough.. the score was like 16-14. and guess what? the other team consists of only girls (very fit girls) fr audience's pt of view, their stamina was like superb..

oh ya, i rmb tt emily was suffering cos of her shoes (her shoes were walking shoes) she kena cramp n was quite immobile during the semi final. but before finals, yipeng swapped her shoes w emi, n both of us (ivy n yp) agreed tt emily did much better with her "new" shoes(:
(ps: (gp qn) what is the author's intention in using the "" when she mentioned the word new?) LOL. don scold. just for entertainment XD

It is getting hotter and hotter, sometimes, it is unbearable. Hence, to lower the harm global warming can bring for us, pls do the following (at your own risk!):

1) Do NOT go to school
While going to school might seem the "right" thing to do, the public and private transport you take to school everyday is generating more carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas that increase the global warming effect! One might argue that walking to school does not generate carbon dioxide, but this is a common misconception. Walking increase breathing rate and hence carbon dioxide production. Sleeping and stoning at home is a sedentary activity that minimises carbon dioxide production.

2) Do NOT do your homework
Around x (x is a positive integer) number of trees are cut everyday as a result of students doing their homework dutifully. Trees are essential for replenishing oxygen and consuming carbon dioxide. To save the environment, please minimise deforestation by not doing your homework.

3) Do NOT go LT1 for Econs Lecture, go NGKPAT instead
Ngee Ann Kongsi Performing Arts Theatre (NGKSPAT) saves more electricity as the aircon in LT5, I mean NGKSPAT, seems to be malfunctioning receltly, which in turn saves electricity. Less fossil fuels are combusted, leading to less carbon dioxide produced, yay! In addition to that, one might get to enjoy the additional health benefits of a sauna. Please ignore this if (1) is accomplished.

4) Do NOT use electronic devices
This includes GC and calculators. This reduce electricity consumption and hence lower carbon dioxide production. Start by memorising the formulae for binompdf, binomcdf, poissonpdf, poissoncdf, normalcdf, inverseNorm.

Doing the above can reduce energy output, since we are already over-consuming energy. Let's work toward optimal pollution!

hey ppl!(: it's me again(: went for cip at tpy cc yesterday and took a few pictures.. above is yipeng w (i don't rmb her name sorry!)..
i was trying to take a group picure [cip in progress] but obviously radhika was trying to hide behind yipeng when i was taking this photo.. haha.. my camera is faster!! XD

michele was the one in charge of telling the story.. i rmb that the story was sth about a ghost.. and she was trying to explain to the kids what is a ghost.. LOL(:

btw. i heard that the kid in blue is not supposed to be here but another tutoring class.. quite naughty (seems like to me) but rather cute(:

we had de most cool physics lesson ever! mrs teai demo all sort of stat waves expt for us to see..

so yup, these are few ways to release stress that i had found on9(:
Exercise: even if you go for a walk for 15-25 minutes four days a week it will help your body to get rid of adrenaline and produce endorphins (a natural tranquilizer). Not to mention you will not only feel better, you will also look the part.

hahs. from the title of this entry, i suppose all of you guessed what i had in mind. okae.. i admit this is a little early to start thinking about after promos.. but.. =D i wanna haf a class chalet!! whee.. would be so fun. but it will most likely be in the holidays.. meaning it is highly impossible for the whole class to make it.. but it will be nice if most can make it. since our dear welfare head is refusing to be nudged, i shall start asking the class when they can make it.. if we book early.. will more likely get the days we want. highlight will be BBQ! den all de fun and gossiping session thruout de nite. hahs. but.. boys + girls = muz haf diff rms de chalet.. will be alittle more exp. you haf been forewarned.. Since there are FEW sellers for the blog content, and there are barrier to entry and exit (passwords), products are differentiated (different blog content), and there is imperfect knowledge about the market.

The above is the demand curve for blog writers. According to the Law of demand, the more cost is involve in writing the article, the lesser they are willing to write (lower O/P).

The demand curve and MR curve are kinked due to the demand for blog articles being elastic above price Pe since other blog writers do not increase price for their product when the one author increase its price. Demand is price inelastic as there will be a price war below price Pe.

Blog writers will write at output level MC = MR. However, at that output level, P > MC, thus, there is allocative inefficiency. This is mainly due to the ability of the blog writers to control their price.

on da day of the sales, the public will buy these leaves made from 'S' paper for 2 bucks i tink and dey will haf the honour of pulling the leaves dwn the tree.. so ur duty is to look after that fakey tree wif fakey leaves and psyco the public to buy the fakey leaves (that they can jux conveniently puck from any random trees along de road! but these fakey leaves are made from S papers!! so will cost money la)

Have you ever thought of the story of the Pandora's Box?...

At first the life of man on earth was happier than it is now, and then miseries and discontents gradually crept in. Prometheus and Epimetheus created men only, not women.

When Zeus was angry with mankind, he devised the worst punishment he could think of, and invented Woman. Hephaestus, the smith of the gods, was instructed to form her from the earth and make her irresistibly beautiful. Each of the gods gave her his own special gift of skill, and from this she was called Pandora, "all gifted".

When she was perfected with every gift and arrayed in all her loveliness, this treacherous treasure was taken down to earth by Hermes, the messenger god who wears winged helmet and sandals to speed his flight, and given to Prometheus' foolish brother Epimetheus. Now Prometheus had warned his brother not to accept anything from Zeus, even if it looked like a gift sent in friendship; but Epimetheus as usual acted first and thought afterwards. He accepted the maiden from Hermes and led her into his house, and with her a great jar - some say a box or chest - which the gods had sent with her, telling her to keep it safely but never think of opening it.

This was too much for a lively girl like Pandora, who among her gifts was endowed with the first feminine curiosity. After restraining it for a little while, she at last gave in and lifted the lid from the jar, and from that moment began the sorrows of mankind. For each of the gods had stored in it the worst thing he was able to give, and wonderful as had been the gifts with which they endowed her, just as dreadful were the evils that rushed eagerly from the jar in a black stinking cloud like pestilent insects - sickness and suffering, hatred and jealousy and greed, and all the other cruel things that freeze the heart and bring on old age.

Pandora tried to clap the lid on the jar again, but it was too late. The happy childhood of mankind had gone forever, and with it the Golden Age when life was easy. From then on man had to wrest a hard living by his own labour from the unfriendly ground.

Only one good thing came to man in the jar and remains to comfort him in his distress, and that is the spirit of HOPE.

Recently, i came across this book title called "the five people u meet in heaven". Though i did not read the book, i was inspired by just the title. Wif simmy starting the ball rolling, i guess, i wld wan to continue

you.. my competitor! always seen together with me de. (we are literally in the same grp for projects.. ok not literally, it's ALL!), no wonder people have been doubting if we are GYA!! (purposely de, not spelling mistake) but wadeva dey sae, our feelings for each other will definitely not change rite? I dono hw i became so close to euU, and i dono wen i started to develop feelings for euU (ok tiz's getting YUCKY~), haha, anw, i tink de competiotion brought us closer tgt la!! sry for daoing all ur calls yea? haha, n i tink u are seriusly a damn good leader can? alwez pressing poor me to meet deadlines de.. but i luv de fact that u make sure u plann everything b4 hand! haha. press on yea?

Sweets

Haha, today in the LT, we are passing down sweets given by Miss Sarah Wong.

They are supposed to be the most popular sweets in Denmark.

Our reaction? Haha, most of us were like "(>.<) bring that sweet away!", but hey! guess who enjoyed it? I think 3 of them can go for the "FEAR FACTOR".

Our first glutton, Brian! He ate the most sweet, and only picked the gummis. He was holding the packet most of the time. I wonder how he could stand the smell.

Our second glutton, Yinghui. Haha, she only ate around 5 sweets. Not as much as brian, but is the number of sweets she ate is higher than what a normal student can take.

Our third glutton, Emily. She tasted ALL the sweets and actually said, "not bad what, taste like chocolate." I think she is the champion of today's "FEAR FACTOR".

But nonetheless, we have to appreciate Miss Sarah Wong's effort for buying the sweets for the class. It is not the sweets, but her kind effort, that sweetened all of our hearts. =P
